Submitted by Blake on January 3, 2010 – 8:47 pmOne Comment

All good things must come to an end… Chase comes back one last time as regular co-host of the Showcase to join Blake for the decade in review. The guys talk about the movies, television shows, comic books and creators that shaped the past ten years. The guys answer one last round of Ask Chase Anything, and at long last, the question is answered… Why does Chase hate Firestorm? Chase is leaving, but the Showcase is sticking around. I feel like you should re-edit this podcast and dub in Sinatra’s I Did it My Way over Chase’s final speech.

    So here’s a few thoughts:

1- that’s as good a reason to hate Firestorm as any. It’s similar to the reason that I hated my family dog as a child.

2- Armageddon was AWESOME. Farg you, man! Fargin ice-holes no like Bruce Villis??!”

3- Blake “I can’t argue with you.” He must have had a gun to Blake’s head.

4- I agree with you guys on the Ultimate line. It’s not just bad, it’s obsolete. “Sweep the leg.”

5- I was a Valentino fan on GotG, but Shadowhawk wasn’t that interesting.

6- Good points, but I still love Geoff Johns. I do think he has lost some steam as a result of his insistence on bringing back Barry Allen.

7- For my money, Ultimates and Ultimates 2 are some of the best material in years. Not perfect, but utterly fascinating.

8- Definitely agree that we need a break from event comics. Blackest Night SHOULD have been the GL story it was intended to be. It would have been a much tighter story. And War of the Supermen isn’t that interesting to me.

9- I love Fables so much, I won’t bother commenting on what you said. Too much to say, so little space.

    Good show guys.
